Description
Medical quality burn wound compress saturated with a cooling gel. This gel is made according to a patented scientific formula. The wound is cooled immediately after applying the Burnshield compress and prevents further damage to the already affected tissue.
Burnshield is a first aid product for the initial phase of burn treatment. It is a so-called hydrogel made from pure demineralized water, disinfecting Tea Tree oil, and a medicinal gel-forming product. It is thicker than water and does not evaporate.
Burnshield can be used as an alternative in locations where no water is available and as a supplement to cooling with (preferably) lukewarm water. The principle of heat extraction is applied with Burnshield.
The burn is cooled by transferring the heat from the damaged skin to the hydrogel. The heat is not retained in the gel but is released to the environment. Therefore, the heat from the burn is quickly dissipated. A layer of WaterJel compress shields the burn from harmful bacteria, preventing infections.
Burnshield burn gel does not contain chemical or pain-relieving agents but is exclusively based on natural products, providing a safe and effective treatment for thermal burns resulting from fire, steam, hot liquids, radiant heat, or other non-chemical heat sources.
