Description
Medical quality, burn dressing saturated with a cooling gel. This gel is made according to a patented scientific formula. The wound is cooled immediately after applying the Burnshield dressing, helping to prevent further damage to already affected tissue.
Burnshield is a first aid product for the initial phase of burn treatment. It is a so-called hydrogel made from pure demineralized water, disinfecting Tea Tree oil, and a medicinal gel-forming product. It is thicker than water and does not evaporate.
Burnshield can be used as an alternative in locations where water is not available and as a supplement to cooling with (preferably) lukewarm water. The principle of heat extraction is applied with Burnshield.
The burn is cooled by transferring the heat from the damaged skin to the hydrogel. Subsequently, the heat is not retained in the gel but released to the environment. Thus, the heat from the burn is rapidly dissipated. A layer of WaterJel dressing shields the burn from harmful bacteria, helping to prevent infections.
Burnshield burn gel does not contain chemicals or pain relief agents, but is solely based on natural products, providing safe and effective treatment for thermal burns caused by fire, steam, hot liquids, radiant heat, or other non-chemical heat sources.
