Description
A fixation bandage must meet many requirements. It should provide reliable, non-slip fixation of the compress, while not excessively restricting the patient’s freedom of movement. Elastomull is a skin-friendly, stretchable, white fixation bandage with good supportive properties.

Elastomull is a stretchable and skin-friendly fixation bandage made of 42% cotton, 29% viscose, and 29% polyamide. Thanks to the special weaving technique and the use of polyamide, Elastomull is particularly elastic. Even with prolonged wear, the elasticity does not diminish. Complicated dressings can thus be applied quickly and easily. The special wavy weave structure ensures that Elastomull adheres well to itself, allowing for limited (1/3 overlap per) turn without the use of renversé techniques. This saves material and time while providing a reliable, wrinkle-free, and non-slip fixation. Dressings on moving body parts like joints remain securely in place with Elastomull and do not shift or crease. For fixations around fingers and toes, simple circular turns are sufficient. Additionally, due to the elastic properties, there are no venous stasis issues with normal use and the freedom of movement is hardly restricted. Thanks to the high cotton and viscose content and the openness of the fabric, Elastomull is soft, comfortable, and extremely skin-friendly. The open weave structure allows the skin to breathe well, significantly preventing sweat and itching under the bandage. Elastomull can be sterilized in an autoclave or by gas.
Applications
Especially suitable for the fixation of dressings, particularly on curved and moving body parts, such as arms, legs, fingers, toes, head/neck, and torso.
