Description
A fixation bandage must meet many requirements. It must provide reliable, non-shifting fixation of the dressing, but it should not overly restrict the patient’s freedom of movement. Elastomull is a skin-friendly, elastic, white fixation bandage with good supportive properties.

Elastomull is an elastic and skin-friendly fixation bandage made of 42% cotton, 29% viscose, and 29% polyamide. Thanks to the special weaving technique and the use of polyamide, Elastomull is particularly stretchy. With prolonged use, the elasticity does not decrease. This allows for quick and easy application of even complicated bandages. Because the special wavy weave structure ensures that Elastomull adheres well to itself, it is sufficient to use limited (1/3 overlap per) winding without renversé techniques. This saves material and time and results in a reliable, wrinkle-free, and non-shifting fixation. Even bandages on moving body parts, such as joints, stay well in place with Elastomull, without shifting or wrinkling. For fixations of bandages around fingers and toes, simple circular windings are sufficient. Moreover, thanks to the elastic properties, there is no venous congestion during normal use, and freedom of movement is hardly restricted. Due to the high cotton and viscose content and the open weave of the material, Elastomull is soft, comfortable, and extremely skin-friendly. The open weave structure allows the skin to breathe well, significantly preventing sweat and itching under the bandage. Elastomull can be sterilized in an autoclave or using gas.
