Description
A fixation bandage must meet many requirements. It should provide reliable, non-shifting fixation of the compress but must not overly restrict the patient’s freedom of movement. Elastomull is a skin-friendly, elastic, white fixation bandage with good supportive properties.

Elastomull is an elastic and skin-friendly fixation bandage composed of 42% cotton, 29% viscose, and 29% polyamide. Thanks to the special weaving technique and the use of polyamide, Elastomull is particularly stretchy. With prolonged wear, the elasticity does not diminish. This allows for complicated dressings to be applied quickly and easily. The unique wavy weave structure enables Elastomull to adhere well to itself, requiring only limited (1/3 overlap per) turn without reverse techniques. This saves both materials and time, resulting in reliable, wrinkle-free, and non-shifting fixation. Additionally, dressings on moving body parts such as joints remain securely in place and do not shift or wrinkle. For fixations of dressings around the fingers and toes, simple circular turns are sufficient. Furthermore, due to its elastic properties, no venous stasis occurs during normal use, and freedom of movement is barely restricted. With its high cotton and viscose content and the openness of the fabric, Elastomull is soft, comfortable, and extremely skin-friendly. The open weave structure allows the skin to breathe well, significantly preventing sweat and itching underneath the bandage. Elastomull can be sterilized in an autoclave or using gas.
