Description
A fixation bandage must meet many requirements. It should provide reliable fixation that does not shift, but it must not restrict the patient’s freedom of movement. Gazofix offers more. It is a skin-colored, self-adhesive elastic fixation bandage, easy to apply and with good supportive properties.
Features
The material of Gazofix consists of cotton and polyamide. The bandage adheres to itself through impregnated microdrops of natural latex, but does not stick to the skin or hair. Moreover, Gazofix is elastic, making it easy and quick to apply larger and more complex bandages. The polyamide fibers retain their elasticity even with prolonged use, allowing Gazofix to be used for a long time, fixated and without folding. Due to its self-adhesive nature, the layers only need to be applied with one-third overlap, which can save a lot of material. Gazofix can be sterilized in an autoclave or with gas. Gazofix is individually packaged in cellophane.
