First Aid Kit Requirements for Companies
- The first aid kit should be within reach; you must be able to grab it within half a minute.
- It should also include a holder that allows it to be clearly visible when mounted on the wall. Additionally, it must be easy to open.
- The Oranje Kruis recommends checking the first aid kit every six months. This includes checking the contents and the expiration dates of sterile products.
- The described contents are, by the way, a minimum package; the box should have enough space to expand based on specific risks or experiences depending on the company’s situation.
- The first aid kit must contain clear instructions for use, as well as guidance on First Aid Procedures. Here you can read how to act in various accidents.
- A company is responsible for the contents of the first aid kit; maintenance (checking expiration and replenishment) can be outsourced. You can also arrange this with us. For more information, see our page
