Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive made from zinc oxide rubber provides strong and long-lasting adhesion, even under significant tension.
Additionally, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast is made air and moisture vapor permeable through a special process. This prevents an airtight seal, avoids maceration of the skin, and helps prevent other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is exceptionally strong and versatile for use with patients who have normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for securing compresses and dressings of all sizes. The bandage is easy to unroll and can be torn by hand despite its high tensile strength. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
