Leukofix is a transparent adhesive plaster made from perforated polyethylene film. Its hypoallergenic adhesive made from polyacrylate provides good and long-lasting adhesion. The adhesive plasters are well tolerated by people with sensitive skin. The flexible film conforms well to body contours, making Leukofix highly suitable for use on moving parts of the body.
Leukofix also offers reliable fixation over longer periods. The plaster can be exceptionally easily torn by hand both lengthwise, widthwise, and from the center. Because the adhesive plaster is perforated, Leukofix allows air and water vapor to pass through, preventing maceration of the skin.
Moreover, Leukofix can be removed painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue. It can even be removed almost painlessly from hairy skin. Since Leukofix does not contain radiation-absorbing components, the adhesive plaster does not need to be removed during radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Additionally, the plaster does not undergo a chemical reaction with rubbers or plastics.
