Description
Leukofix is a transparent, water-repellent adhesive plaster that is easy to tear both lengthwise and widthwise.
Leukofix is a transparent adhesive plaster made of perforated polyethylene film. The hypoallergenic adhesive mass made of polyacrylate provides good and long-lasting adhesion. The adhesive plasters are well-tolerated by people with sensitive skin.
The flexible film adapts well to the body’s contours, making Leukofix highly suitable for use on moving parts of the body. Leukofix also offers reliable fixation for extended periods.
The plaster can be easily torn by hand, both lengthwise, widthwise, or from the center. Because the adhesive plaster is perforated, Leukofix allows air and water vapor to pass through, preventing skin maceration. Additionally, Leukofix can be removed painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue. It can be removed almost painlessly even from hairy skin.
Since Leukofix does not contain radiation-absorbing components, the adhesive plaster does not need to be removed during radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Moreover, the plaster does not chemically react with rubbers or plastics.
