Description
Leukoflex is a transparent, waterproof adhesive plaster that is particularly suitable for the temporary waterproof covering of (occlusive) dressings, even for patients with sensitive skin.
Leukoflex is a transparent, flexible adhesive plaster made from polyethylene film. The hypoallergenic adhesive mass of polyacrylate ensures reliable and long-lasting adhesion. Leukoflex is waterproof.
The flexible and stretchable material conforms well to body contours, making Leukoflex very suitable for use on moving body parts. Leukoflex also provides reliable fixation for longer periods.
Leukoflex is well-tolerated by people with sensitive skin. Additionally, it can be removed painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue. Even from hairy skin, the adhesive plaster can almost be removed painlessly, provided it is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth.
Since Leukoflex does not contain radiation-absorbing components, the adhesive plaster does not need to be removed during radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Furthermore, the plaster does not undergo any chemical reaction with rubbers or plastics.
Applications:
- Waterproof fixation of dressings, gauzes, etc.
- Transparent fixation of tubes, catheters, etc.
- Temporary waterproof covering of (occlusive) dressings for extra protection during washing, bathing, etc.
