Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive made from zinc oxide rubber provides good and long-lasting adhesion, even when the bandage is under significant tension.
Furthermore, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast has been specially treated to be air- and water vapor-permeable. This prevents airtight sealing, prevents skin maceration, and helps to avoid other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for securing all sizes of compresses and pads. The bandage is easy to unwind and can, despite its high tensile strength, be easily torn by hand. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
