Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive mass of zinc oxide rubber provides a good and lasting adhesive strength, even when the bandage is under significant tension.
Furthermore, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive mass of Leukoplast has been made air- and water vapor-permeable by a special process. This prevents airtight sealing, preventing skin softening and reducing other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for the fixation of all sizes of dressings and gauzes. The bandage unwinds easily and can be torn off by hand despite its great tensile strength. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
