Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive of zinc oxide-rubber provides strong and long-lasting adhesion, even when the bandage is under significant tension.
Additionally, the zinc oxide-rubber adhesive of Leukoplast has been made permeable to air and water vapor through a special process. This prevents an airtight seal, prevents skin maceration, and helps avoid other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for securing all sizes of dressings and gauzes. The bandage is easy to unroll and can, despite its high tensile strength, be easily torn by hand. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
