Description
Leukoplast is a white adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive mass of zinc oxide rubber provides a good and long-lasting adhesion, even when the bandage is under significant tension. Additionally, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast has been made air- and water vapor-permeable through a special process. This prevents an airtight seal, keeps the skin from macerating, and helps avoid other skin irritations. Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for the fixation of all sizes of dressings and gauzes. The bandage is easy to unroll and can, despite its strong tensile power, be easily torn by hand. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
