Description
Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and porous adhesive plaster made from a white non-woven polyester/viscose film. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is well tolerated even by patients with very sensitive skin. Therefore, Leukopor adhesive plasters are the preferred choice for babies and the elderly.
Leukopor is air- and moisture-permeable. Leukopor can be painlessly removed from the skin without leaving any adhesive residue. It can also be removed from hairy skin with minimal discomfort, provided it is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. Leukopor is easy to tear by hand and can be well molded on moving body parts.
Leukopor offers reliable fixation, even for extended periods. The plaster can be easily written on with a pen or marker and is water-repellent. Leukopor contains no radiation-absorbing components and does not need to be removed during radiation therapy or radiological examinations. Moreover, the plaster does not undergo a chemical reaction with rubbers or plastics.
