The Ambu Man is a life-sized training mannequin that offers an exceptionally realistic representation of human anatomy, particularly the features important for practicing modern resuscitation techniques. Realistic resuscitation practice scenarios.
The Ambu Man does not require any cables or wires. This means that the Ambu Man can be placed in a realistic setting, away from computers and other electrical devices. This significantly influences the degree of freedom during training, and with no wires or cables lying around, it allows for complete freedom in realistic scenarios.
The Ambu Man features a unique, patented hygienic system, in which all trainees receive their own facial mask and air pouch to minimize the risk of cross-infection between students using the same mannequin. The hygienic system also provides realistic exhalation from the Ambu Man through the mouth and nose. The Ambu Man W models are equipped with a mechanical control instrument as well as digital sensors. Both indicate the effectiveness of resuscitation. It also displays the results of the ventilation volume, the depth of chest compressions in mm, gastric inflation, and incorrect hand positioning. Ambu Man W models can be connected to a computer via USB or WiFi, using the Ambu CPR Software for a more detailed display of the performed resuscitation. The Ambu Man I and Wireless come standard with 5 facial masks and 100 air pouches in a carry bag that can also be used as a practice mat.
