Properties
Optiplaste-C is a skin-colored, 100% cotton bandage with a maximum stretch of 6% in length. Thanks to the woven chain threads, Optiplaste-C provides durable and powerful support and compression, combining low resting pressure with high working pressure. Optiplaste-C can be easily shaped and does not shift. The conventional zinc oxide rubber adhesive layer guarantees immediate and reliable adhesion. Optiplaste-C is easy to unwind and is water-repellent. Since Optiplaste-C does not contain radiation-absorbing components, the dressing does not need to be removed during radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Additionally, Optiplaste-C can be sterilized.

- As a functional immobilization bandage, for example, after a clavicle fracture or after the removal of a plaster cast

Optiplaste-C has a thicker adhesive layer and is more breathable than Optiplaste-E. This makes this bandage more skin-friendly and suitable as a dressing. Both types of Optiplaste are water-repellent.
