Features
Optiplaste-C is a skin-colored, 100% cotton dressing with a maximum stretch of 6% in length. Thanks to the woven chain threads, Optiplaste-C provides durable and strong support and compression, linking low resting pressure to high working pressure. Optiplaste-C can be perfectly modeled and does not shift. The conventional zinc oxide rubber adhesive layer guarantees immediate and reliable adhesion. Optiplaste-C is easy to unwind and is water-resistant.
Since Optiplaste-C contains no radiation-absorbing components, the dressing does not need to be removed during radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Furthermore, Optiplaste-C can be sterilized.
Applications

- As a support and relieving dressing for muscles, capsules, and joints
- For functional taping to treat and prevent injuries to muscles, capsules, and joints.
- As a functional immobilization dressing, for example, after a clavicle fracture or after the removal of a plaster cast.

Optiplast-C has a thicker adhesive layer and is more breathable than Optiplaste-E. This makes this dressing more skin-friendly and suitable as a bandage. Both types of Optiplaste are water-resistant.
