Description
Tensoplast elastic adhesive bandages are particularly suitable when movement restriction is indicated. They can therefore be excellently applied in the treatment of sprains. In addition, Tensoplast can be used as a compression bandage for varicose veins and Ulcus Cruris.
Properties
The carrier material of Tensoplast consists of cotton / artificial silk. This superior adhesive bandage has excellent elasticity, allowing for the desired compression to be dosed according to the indication. The classic adhesive layer made of zinc oxide is applied in a special porous manner on the carrier material. This allows Tensoplast to let air and moisture pass through, enabling the skin to breathe. Softening of the skin is thus prevented. The adhesive layer also ensures optimal adhesion to the skin. This keeps the bandage in place, even when worn for extended periods. The soft edges without raw edges prevent wrinkling and constriction. Tensoplast thus offers the patient optimal wearing comfort.
