Description
Tensoplast elastic adhesive bandages are especially suitable when movement restriction is indicated. They can therefore be excellently applied in the treatment of sprains. Additionally, Tensoplast can be used as a compression bandage for varicose veins and Ulcus Cruris.
Properties
The carrier material of Tensoplast consists of cotton / synthetic silk. This superior adhesive bandage has excellent elasticity, allowing the desired compression to be adjusted according to the indication. The classic adhesive layer made of zinc oxide is applied in a specially porous manner to the carrier material. This allows Tensoplast to permit air and moisture to pass through, enabling the skin to breathe. This prevents softening of the skin. The adhesive layer also ensures optimal adhesion to the skin. This keeps the bandage in place, even when worn for extended periods. The soft edges without selvage prevent wrinkling and constriction. Tensoplast thus provides the patient with optimal wearing comfort.
