Description
Maalox contains a compound of magnesium and aluminum. These are strong acid-binding agents. Magnesium compounds alone have a laxative effect, while aluminum compounds work to constipate. When these substances are used together, as in Maalox, their effects cancel each other out, relieving stomach complaints without causing diarrhea or constipation.
The dosage of Maalox is 4 times a day (= 24 hours) one tablet. The tablets should be taken one hour after a meal and one tablet before going to bed.
This product will be available again from the end of February.
