Description
Draw ointment (active ingredient: Ichthammol) applied to the skin inhibits inflammation, reduces flaking, and soothes itching. Furthermore, it has a mild antiseptic effect and reduces swelling.
For chronic eczema.
Itching decreases quickly. After 2 to 4 weeks, you will also experience less redness and flaking.
Apply the ointment thinly. If applied too thickly, you increase the risk of side effects, while Ichthammol does not work better. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, or open wounds. The product has a very unpleasant odor. If you apply it before going to bed, you will experience less discomfort during the day.
Ichthammol can stain clothing and bed linen. These stains are difficult to wash out. It can also discolor the skin and nails. To prevent this, you may use plastic gloves or a finger cot when applying the ointment.
The medication may irritate the skin. The irritation usually resolves on its own. If you continue to experience discomfort, consult your doctor.
