Description
Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and porous adhesive plaster made from a white non-woven polyester/viscose film. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is easily tolerated by patients with very sensitive skin. Therefore, Leukopor adhesive plasters are the preferred choice for babies and the elderly.
Leukopor is breathable and moisture-permeable. It can be removed from the skin painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue. Leukopor can also be removed from hairy skin with minimal pain, provided it is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. It can be easily torn by hand and can be effectively shaped on moving body parts. Leukopor offers reliable fixation, even for extended periods.
The plaster can be easily written on with a pen or marker and is water-repellent. Leukopor contains no radiation-absorbing components and does not need to be removed during radiation therapies or radiological examinations. Moreover, the plaster does not undergo any chemical reactions with rubbers or plastics.
