Description
Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and porous adhesive plaster made of a white non-woven polyester/viscose film. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is well tolerated even by patients with very sensitive skin. Therefore, Leukopor adhesive plasters are the preferred choice for babies and the elderly.
Leukopor is permeable to air and water vapor. It can be painlessly removed from the skin and leaves no adhesive residue. Leukopor can also be removed from hairy skin with minimal pain, provided it is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. Leukopor can easily be torn by hand and can be well molded on moving body parts. It offers reliable fixation, even for extended periods. The plaster can be easily written on with a pen or marker and is water-repellent.
Leukopor contains no radiation-absorbing components and does not need to be removed during radiation therapy or radiological examinations. Moreover, the plaster does not undergo any chemical reactions with rubbers or plastics.
