Description
The Prestan family consists of 1 adult torso, 1 child torso, and 1 baby resuscitation manikin with a CPR monitor. These resuscitation torsos provide individual feedback on the correct frequency, compression depth, and location of chest compressions. The student learns to perform chest compressions with the appropriate force and speed. With the Prestan collection, it is possible to train multiple students simultaneously and allow the student to experience the differences between adult, child, and baby resuscitation.
The Prestan resuscitation torsos provide immediate feedback on the correct frequency, compression depth, and location of chest compressions through a resuscitation monitor and a clicking mechanism. The student learns to administer chest compressions with the right force and speed. The feedback monitor indicates, using colored lights, the feedback on compression depth and compression frequency. When the compression frequency is too low (below 100), the orange light comes on. At the correct compression frequency (between 100-120), two green lights appear. If the frequency exceeds 120 compressions, a flashing orange light appears.
