Description
Duracell batteries (10 pieces) suitable for the Zoll AED Plus.
These batteries deliver unprecedented performance every day, ensuring that self-tests pose no problem. These 3-volt batteries utilize Lithium Manganese Dioxide Technology, which lasts 5 times longer than standard alkaline batteries. The batteries need to be replaced before the expiration date has passed. Zoll recommends using only high-quality batteries to avoid unnecessary loss of life.
The lithium core provides consistent power and has a higher energy capacity than other types of batteries. The batteries even operate in the most extreme temperatures, are leak-resistant, and have a lifespan of 5 years.
How do you install the batteries?
Turn off the device and remove the cover from the back of the unit. Place the new batteries in the designated compartment. When all the batteries are correctly installed in the AED, the AED will prompt you to restart the device. It is important that all batteries are replaced at once. Once all the batteries have been replaced, press the button (microswitch). This button is located on the back, behind the cover.
How do I know if I need to replace the batteries in my AED?
The AED indicates that the batteries are running low in the following ways:
- Is the AED turned off? You will hear a beep every minute.
- Is the AED turned on? You will hear the voice command stating ‘replace the batteries’.
- The AED visually indicates with a red cross that the self-tests have failed. This may mean that the capacity of the batteries is less than 50%.
