The latex-free Laerdal bag mask combines user comfort and safety when a rescuer performs life-saving mouth-to-mask ventilation. On one hand, the use of a one-way valve with low resistance facilitates inflation. On the other hand, the single-use 3M Filtrete hydrophobic filter protects the rescuer from microorganisms present in the victim.
