Properties
Leukotape classic is made from non-stretch, white cotton fabric. The tape has a high adhesive and tensile strength. The zinc oxide-rubber adhesive ensures excellent adhesion, both on the skin and on any skin-protective underlay. Even under heavy stress, the tape remains securely in place. The rigidity of the material provides a stabilizing effect, both mechanically and proprioceptively.
The outer side of the carrier material is impregnated and water-repellent. The plastic core of Leukotape classic has rounded edges, preventing it from cutting into the skin when being rolled out.
Leukotape classic can easily be torn by hand in length or width, thanks to the lightly serrated edge, making the use of scissors unnecessary. This tearability does not affect the tensile strength of the carrier material, allowing Leukotape classic to absorb significant forces.
Thanks to an advanced production method, Leukotape classic adheres excellently to itself while the entire roll can still be unwound effortlessly. Additionally, Leukotape classic has an impressive shelf life of 5 years.
