Properties
Leukotape classic is made of non-stretch, white cotton fabric. The tape has high adhesive and tensile strength. The zinc oxide rubber adhesive ensures excellent bonding, both on the skin and on any protective underlayer. Even under heavy load, the tape remains securely in place. The rigidity of the material provides a stabilizing effect, both mechanically and proprioceptively.
The exterior of the backing material is impregnated and water-repellent. The plastic core of Leukotape classic has rounded edges, preventing it from cutting into the skin when unrolling.
Leukotape classic can be easily torn by hand along the length or width, thanks to its slightly serrated edge, making the use of scissors unnecessary. This tearability does not affect the tensile strength of the backing material, allowing Leukotape classic to absorb significant forces.
Thanks to an advanced manufacturing method, Leukotape classic adheres excellently to itself, while the entire roll remains effortlessly unrollable. Moreover, Leukotape classic has an impressive shelf life of 5 years.
